L.I.F.E. Groups (Living In Fellowship Everyday) 

L.I.F.E. Groups are an exciting way for you to meet others at Living Hope Lighthouse. L.I.F.E. Groups provide a fun-filled, relaxing environment for people to engage in meaningful relationships by doing life together.

In a large population, creating a sense of community and connecting with others is important. In the church, it's crucial. L.I.F.E.  Groups are small groups within the larger church in which people of similar interests take care of the "one-anothers" in life. In a large church, it's important that community exists in order for relationships to be real and relevant.

L.I.F.E. Groups are typically organized by personal preference. There are opportunities to participate in specialized L.I.F.E. Groups, as well.  L.I.F.E. Groups meet in homes at various days and times during the week. Additional development of the Sunday worship sermon and/or more specified and intense Bible study is an important aspect of the L.I.F.E. Group sessions. L.I.F.E. Groups also spend a portion of time every week sharing and praying for one another's needs, concerns and joys. Fellowship and service are also important.

If you want to join a L.I.F.E. Group, please fill out a Connect Card on Sunday. They are located in any of the church pews. You can also contact the church office and we will be sure to connect you to a group.

Growth Groups 

Are you curious about Christian faith? Have you recently made a spiritual decision? Attending a Growth Group may be for you. Perhaps you’ve attended church many times but you don't feel you're grown deeper in your faith and you're looking for some guidance.  Participating in LHL's enLIGHTen Discipleship Program, along with a discipleship mentor, will prove to be a valuable experience and help you grow your faith.

You can begin a Growth Groups at any time.  Your journey begins by meeting a few hours a week with your discipleship mentor, who will guide you through the  enLIGHTen Discipleship Program in an atmosphere of love and learning. You will delve deeper into topics such as the Bible, prayer and spiritual habits.

Baptisms

Twice a year, Living Hope Lighthouse celebrates full immersion believer's baptism. One celebration is typically held in February and the other is in August.  After the baptism ceremony, we spend some time in celebratory fellowship as we swim and share in delicious refreshments.

Body Building: LHL Membership Class 

This class is the basic introduction to our church family and is required for church membership.  Upon completion of the Body Building Membership Class, you become a member of our church family.  There are four sections to the class:

Living Hope Lighthouse's Strategy - What our purpose is and our plan to reach people.

Living Hope Lighthouse's Structure - How our church is organized by Ministry Council, Commissions and Teams.

Living Hope Lighthouse's Statements - What we believe.

Living Hope Lighthouse's Salvation - How our salvation is in Jesus alone.

Discipleship Classes 

Living Hope Lighthouse also offers a variety of Discipleship Classes throughout the year. These classes are held quarterly and on varying days and times. Classes include a wide number of topics such as: improving your marriage, Biblical surveys, the cultural/geographical background of Scripture, evangelism strategies, world religions, wise financial stewardship, etc....  Anyone is welcome to attend these classes/seminars. In offering these Discipleship Classes, LHL is a great source for Christian learning in the community.
